The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
